CINEMILLS LEDZ in Action for Cable Television Show

CINEMILLS LEDZ was recently used for a cable television show, filmed at the famous Universal Studios, City Walk, Hollywood

The versatile LED lights was a perfect application for this project, especially, with the battery operated LEDZ Brute 9 and Superspot.

Here is a quick video recap from the film shoot, CINEMILLS LEDZ in action. The film crew needed lights that was on-the-go, capable of moving around lots of foot traffic. As you can see on the video, Ruben Diaz, Chief Lighting Technician, uses the LEDZ lights for different types of applications.

The LEDZ BRUTE 9® system provides an extremely bright, rectangular beam spread. The BRUTE 9 is a modular system and can be set up as a duo fixture with a conversion kit. The BRUTE 9 incorporates an on‑board dimmer for full intensity control. The BRUTE 9 is a perfect fixture for the 0-200w HMI lighting market.

The LEDZ SUPERSPOT is extremely robust with an all aluminum housing and yoke system with junior mounting pin. It has a slim profile so can be used in a multiple of lighting setups utilizing minimal space. The fixture produces no sound and very minimal heat, making it studio friendly.  There are two built in dimmers on the fixture which allow for 100% - 0 output control with minimal color shift. The LEDZ SUPERSPOT comes complete with a switchable power supply unit 110v -240v AC, extension cable with on/off switch. There are additional accessories available including the LEDZ Speedframe, Chimera, filter frame, DMX capabilities and 12v battery options for mobile applications.

Highlights from Entertainment Technology Expo 2012


CINEMILLS returned to the Entertainment Technology Expo, 2012, hosted by, Createasphere. One of the many events and expos the company participate in throughout the year. This event is one of our favorite, because of it's close proximity from our Burbank office.

A great community of patrons coming from all sorts of background in the motion picture, television, broadcasting, photography, and many more. Vendors showcasing their latest products in the market, and CINEMILLS revealed several new products.

The LEDZ Brute 15 and Brute 9 are some of the newest designs from the company. New specs and features that raises the bar to another level.

 During the event, Malcolm Mills was interviewed by Digital Production Buzz, with host, Larry Jordan. Just prior to the interview, Malcolm briefly talks about the LEDZ Brute 3, a great tool in applications such as this.
